Wireless Cast
Project without a cable.
What it is
Lazy Lighting Link is a small companion app for Android TV / Google TV projectors and TVs. Your phone sends the projector output over Wi-Fi.
Setup
- 1
On the projector/TV, install Lazy Lighting Link from the Google Play Store and open it. It shows a QR code.
- 2
On your phone, open the projector chip → Wireless Connection → Connect with Lazy Lighting Link.
- 3
Scan the QR code (or pick the device from the list). Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
- 4
The projector chip turns green and the projector shows your mapping.
Prefer AirPlay?
Any AirPlay-capable projector, Apple TV or AirPlay TV works from Control Center → Screen Mirroring; no companion app needed.
Troubleshooting — "Can't find your projector?"
- Same Wi-Fi on both devices? Guest networks and hotel Wi-Fi often block device-to-device traffic.
- Is Lazy Lighting Link open on the TV and showing the QR code?
- Turn Wi-Fi off/on on the phone, or restart Link on the TV.
- 5 GHz Wi-Fi gives smoother frames than 2.4 GHz.
- Cabled HDMI always has the lowest latency; use it for tightly synced audio shows.
