Accessibility statement

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to learn about and use Lazy Lighting. Our goal for lazylighting.com is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

Last reviewed: October 21, 2026

What we do

  • Every page works with a keyboard, with a skip link and a visible focus outline.
  • Images carry text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text and controls are checked for color contrast, and pages reflow on small screens without sideways scrolling.
  • Background videos have no sound, respect your system's reduced-motion setting, and stop for good with "Pause animations" in the footer of every page.
  • The auto-advancing app screenshots have their own pause button.
  • Tutorial videos load only when you press play.
  • We test pages with automated accessibility checks (axe) and by hand.

Known limitations

  • Two tutorial videos on YouTube have only automatic captions for now. We are replacing them with edited captions.
  • The interactive projection demo at the top of the homepage is moved by dragging its corners. With a keyboard, focus a corner and use the arrow keys. It is a demonstration only; nothing on the site depends on it.
  • Some pages, including this one, are available in English only.
  • The Lazy Lighting apps for iPhone, iPad and Android follow their platforms' accessibility features; this statement covers the website.
