Who we are
lazylighting.com is operated by Audity Apps LLC, a Colorado limited liability company and the maker of the Lazy Lighting apps ("we"), at 1500 N Grant St #4915, Denver, CO 80203, United States. We decide how the information described here is used. Jacob Silverstein is responsible for privacy matters (our privacy officer). For privacy questions or requests, email support@lazylighting.com or write to the address above.
Information collected by this website
Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security signals, to deliver and protect the site. Our first-party measurement records events such as page category, campaign link, article, store destination, locale, coarse country, device category, consent state, and interaction type. It contains no raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, names, email addresses, or cookie identifiers, and it continues after you decline optional analytics, because it cannot be used to recognize you.
Analytics services
Google Analytics may measure page visits, referral and campaign information, article engagement, and app-store clicks using cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>, kept for up to 400 days). In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Quebec, and anywhere we cannot determine your location, Google's analytics script is not loaded at all until you allow it: you can allow analytics only, allow analytics and advertising measurement, or decline. Elsewhere, analytics is on by default and you can turn it off. We never enable ad personalization. Global Privacy Control signals are treated as a decline everywhere.
Videos
Tutorial videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube or Google until you press play; after that, Google processes your viewing under its own privacy policy.
Campaign, creator and app-store links
Links such as /links/insta attach standardized campaign information so we can compare traffic from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, newsletters, QR codes, and other placements. Creator links (for example lazylighting.com/nick) send phones through AppsFlyer, our app-attribution provider, so installs can be credited to the creator. App Store and Google Play links may contain campaign or install-referrer parameters. Apple, Google, AppsFlyer, and Amazon process the resulting information under their own privacy policies.
Page experiments and app funnel measurement
Some pages, such as the links page, may show one of several layouts so we can learn which works best. A small first-party cookie (ll_exp) remembers only the layout letter you were shown for up to 90 days; it contains no identifier and is not used for advertising. The layout letter may accompany app-store and partner links so that downloads and sign-ups can be counted per layout. The Lazy Lighting apps may report a few product milestones, such as first launch, first saved template, first projection, and purchase, to lazylighting.com together with a random per-install identifier that the app generates. This identifier is not an advertising identifier and is described in the app privacy policies.
Cookies and browser storage
ll_consent_region (first party, 1 day): whether your location requires the consent prompt. LL_LOCALE (first party, 1 year): the language you picked. ll_exp (first party, up to 90 days): a page-layout letter, only on pages running an experiment. ll_analytics_consent_v1 (browser storage, until you change it): your consent choice. ll_campaign_attribution_v1 (browser storage, 90 days, only if you allow analytics): the campaign that brought you here. _ga and _ga_<id> (Google Analytics, up to 400 days, only when analytics is allowed or on by default).
How we use information and legal bases
We use measurement to improve articles, search visibility, website performance, download journeys, and the Lazy Lighting product. Where the law requires consent (for Google Analytics and advertising measurement in the regions listed above), we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Hosting, security, and first-party measurement without identifiers rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
International transfers
Audity Apps LLC is a United States company, and our service providers (including Cloudflare and Google) may process information in the United States and other countries. They rely on recognized transfer safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Retention and access
Cloudflare Analytics Engine event data is retained for up to three months. Longer-term analytics and search data may be retained in access-controlled reporting systems such as Google Analytics and BigQuery according to our configured retention settings and business or legal needs. Emails you send to support are kept as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the conversation. Access is limited to people who operate and improve Lazy Lighting.
Affiliate and third-party links
The site contains links to the App Store, retailers such as Amazon, and other third-party sites. As an Amazon Associate, Lazy Lighting earns from qualifying purchases. Some links are affiliate or tracking links that may result in commission or attribution benefits.
Your choices and rights
You can change your analytics choice at any time with "Privacy choices" in the footer of every page, or with Analytics preferences on this page. You can also limit cookies in your browser or device settings. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email support@lazylighting.com to make a request; we will not discriminate against you for using these rights. We honor Global Privacy Control; we do not respond to the older Do Not Track signal.
Children
The website is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We use reasonable measures to protect information, though no method is completely secure. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@lazylighting.com.
