Troubleshooting

• Switch the projector's input to the HDMI port you're using.
• Use an adapter that carries video: USB-C to HDMI for iPhone 15 and later and USB-C iPads, Apple's Lightning Digital AV Adapter for older iPhones. Many USB-C cables only charge.
• Unplug and reconnect the adapter, then try another HDMI cable or port.
• When it works, Home shows Projector Connected with the detected resolution and the projector shows the Lazy Lighting logo.

Put both devices on the same Wi-Fi (not a guest network), allow Local Network access for Lazy Lighting, keep Lazy Lighting Link open on its Live Cast tab, and switch off any VPN. If the projector still isn't listed, use Connect Manually.

• Set the projector's keystone to zero and turn off auto-keystone, so the projector doesn't reshape the picture on its own.
• Make sure the projector hasn't moved; even a small bump shifts every corner.
• Remember that welded corners move together. Tap a shared corner and choose Remove Weld to move one shape alone.

• In General Settings → Output, choose 30 FPS and a lower Resolution (720p is plenty for many projectors).
• Turn on Disable App Animations.
• Use a cable instead of AirPlay or Wi-Fi when timing matters.
• Fewer stacked visuals and effects mean less work for the phone. Close other apps and keep the device cool and charged.

• Orange Tap shapes to apply visuals pill? The visual isn't on any shape — select shapes on the Shapes tab.
• Check it isn't hidden (Hide Visual) or at zero Opacity, and that another visual on top isn't covering it.
• With Mask Mode on, a mask or cutout may hide it on some shapes.
• Depth shapes only show depth visuals.

• Allow microphone access: iPhone Settings → Lazy Lighting → Microphone.
• Open Audio Sync and check the Input and Gain.
• Make sure the setting is linked to an audio band. Applying a preset or Random clears audio links.

That's the free plan's watermark. Pro removes it. If you already bought Pro, tap the person icon on Home → Restore Purchase with the same Apple ID or Google account.

Video loops need an internet connection the first time. If one keeps failing, clear Video Download Cache in Settings and try again, or download everything over Wi-Fi with General Settings → Download Visuals before a show.
